Our vision

The Skill Center Chiang Mai has been founded in order to offer a chance to get a professional training to those who live in underprivileged circumstances. Our explicit aim is to place our students in well-paid employment situations in real economy after one year of training and thus allow them to lead a self-determined life. Our facilities should also be used to improve the condition of disabled children by offering them hippotherapy for free. The Skill Center Chiang Mai is a non-profit organisation and is mainly funded through donations. One of our goals is to become independent from donations. To achieve this goal, the following activities have been installed:

• Mediation of qualified stablehands
• Riding and lunging lessons
• Offering the chance to take care of a horse
• Guided rides Meet and ride with many goodies from the SCC bistro
• Production of high-quality jewellery made from mango wood
